Pam Autrey, Ph. D., Elementary Teacher
Dr. Autrey received her Ph.D. in Curriculum Theory from Louisiana State University Curriculum in 2003. She also earned her Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Elementary education at LSU. She was certified by the Montessori World Education Institute at the Pre-primary/Primary levels in 1988, and by the Southwestern Montessori Training Institute at the Elementary level in 2006.
She previously taught in the Montessori Magnet program of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System.
Willaine Aycock, M.S., Primary Teacher
Ms. Aycock has over 20 years experience in early childhood education. She earned her Bachelor's of Science as well as Master of Social Welfare at Our Lady of the Lake College in San Antonio, Texas. She has done graduate work in Family Systems Approach and Special Education. Ms. Aycock received her American Montessori Society certification for the Primary level from the Houston Montessori Center.
Carol Helm, Primary Teacher
Carol Drapanas Helm was directress of The School on the River, a part-time Montessori school for children three to twelve, located on 50 acres of natural environment on the Mississippi Rover. Ms. Helm excelled at integrating the visual and performing arts into a solid core academic curriculum based upon the hands-on principles of Dr. Montessori.
